Thermalistic Ltd (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you give us: your name, company name, email address, phone number, location and message.
When you visit the website, we also collect general information about how it’s used – pages viewed, how you arrived, your device and browser, and an approximate location. This doesn’t identify you personally.
How we use it
We use your enquiry details to reply to you, prepare quotes and carry out work you ask us to do. If you become a client, we keep records of the work we do for you, including inspection reports.
We use website information to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site.
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who else is involved
We use a few trusted services to run the website and our business:
- Email. Enquiries arrive by email, through Microsoft 365.
- Google Analytics. Measures how the website is used, using cookies.
- Cloudflare. Protects the website from attacks and spam, and helps it load quickly. This includes a check on the contact form that confirms you’re a person, not a bot.
- Google Maps. The map on our Contact page is provided by Google.
Some of these providers store or process information outside New Zealand. We use well-established providers with strong privacy and security practices.
The website itself is hosted in New Zealand. Contact form entries are sent to us by email and are not stored on the website.
Cookies
The website uses cookies for analytics and security. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings – the website will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to respond to you, do the work, and meet our legal and business record-keeping obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within 20 working days.
